2. How do I pay for the booking?
You will be require to pay 20% of your reservation to confirm your booking, the Balance must be paid in cash on arrival. You can pay the 20% deposit by credit card in our website, through our bank account or by calling us on the telephone at +34 626.706.459.
3. Will I need to pay a damage deposit for the apartment?
Yes, there is a cash damage deposit which will need to be paid upon arrival at the apartment in Barcelona. The amount depends on the apartment and goes from 150€ to 500€ see that information on the detail page of the apartment you are choosing.
4. How do I cancel my reservation?
· In case you have to cancell the reservation, BarcelonaRent will keep the deposit of 20% as
cancellation fees.
· In case you hah paid the total amount of the reservation, BarcelonaRent will apply following
percents:
-60 days or more in advance: 20% of total amount
-30 to 59 days before: 50% of total amount
-Less than 30 days in advance: 100% of total amount
5. What happens if I break something?
Please call BarcelonaRent as soon as possible to assess the damage. We will do our best to try and fix or replace the item/s and reach a decision if whether there is any charge incurred.
6. When is check in or check out?
The apartment will be available at 4 pm in the afternoon. Normal check out time is 12am. Please request late check out prior to arrival and we will try our best to accommodate to your needs.
Please note that for arrivals later than 21:00 pm there is an extra-charge of 30€
For arrivals later than 00:00 the fee will be of 50€
7. How will I get the keys to the apartment?
You will be met at the apartment in Barcelona upon your arrival by a member of BarcelonaRent staff who hand over the keys and also show you around the apartment.
8. Can I drink the water?
The tap water in Barcelona is clean and safe to drink throughout the city. However, some areas have a higher sodium content and may taste bitter to some. We generally recommend to stock up on bottled water for drinking at the local grocery store.
9. What if I need help or information during my stay?
There will be a member of BarcelonaRent staff available to answer any of your questions during business hours. Outside business hours you can also contact us in a case of emergency.
10. Will I need an adaptor for using the appliances in the apartment?
For all appliances supplied in the apartments you will not need continental European adaptors. Hairdryers are supplied but to operate other bathroom appliances which you might bring on your travels like electric shavers, curling irons etc., you will need a continental European adaptor.
